AftabRad Revit Add-in -> Import To Revit

All types of points-based calculations that are done by Radiance or Daysim are only in a text-based format. So, it is not easy to read or evaluate them just by looking at calculation data files.

Therefore, in order to present the results in Revit for our future assessment, we should use the ImportToRevit tool.

However, we should use this tool whenever a points-based calculation that is performed by Radiance or Daysim is finished

So, as soon as the creation of the dat, da or ill file is finished, we can press the ImportToRevit button in the AftabRad Add-in to present the results in Revit.

Here in the below, you can find the description of different buttons, labels, textboxes, comboboxes, etc. in the Data2Revit page when the imported file is dat or da file.

However, if the imported file is ill, then we have some more extra options that define how the imported dynamic daylight metric is going to be present.

Here in the below, you can find some explanation for such new parameters.

And finally, by pressing the Import button, we can import and present all the calculation results into Revit.
